Prince Rahim Aga Khan V, 50th Imam of the Ismaili Muslims, on Thursday called on President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
He is visiting India from September 9 to 15 following an invitation from Vice President C P Radhakrishnan.
"His Highness Prince Rahim Aga Khan V called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan," President Murmu's office said in a post on X.
The president appreciated the work undertaken by the Aga Khan Development Network and said it demonstrates how non-profit organisations, working in partnership with the government, can improve people's quality of life, according to the post.
This is Prince Rahim Aga Khan V's first visit to India since his accession as the 50th Imam of the Ismaili community.
Earlier in the day, he met Vice President Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
