The Income Tax Department on Monday extended the ITR filing deadline for corporates for assessment year 2026-27 till November 21, from October 31.
The due date for tax audit report submission has been extended from September 30 to October 21.
"Accordingly, the 'specified date' for furnishing of the report of audit under the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961 for Assessment Year 2026-27, in the case of such persons, stands extended to 21st October, 2026," it added.
